Group Volunteer Info

Many hands make light work!

What is a "group volunteer day"?

Trinity Farm is a busy horse farm serving a four county area. As a working farm, there is no such thing as a day off or a pause in the action! Group volunteer days focus on a project that is easier and more fun to complete together! You can help keep our facility and nonprofit running smooth!

How do we sign up?

Groups of 10 or more individuals team up to complete a project. You can choose your group volunteer day by clicking on the link below or email TrinityFarmVOL@gmail.com if you have questions.

Do we get to work with the horses?

The first thing your group will do upon arrival and check-in, is see the farm. We'll take a tour and find out exactly how our horses help people. From there we'll jump into the focus project. Want to more horse time? Become a weekly horse leader or a caretaker of the herd!

Age Requirement?

Groups of all ages and abilities are welcome! Volunteers under the age of 14 need to have a parent or guardian along for the fun.

Dress Code?

Lets get started on that farmer's tan!

Dress for the weather. Although, we often have back up projects planned when Ohio's weather doesn't cooperate with us, it is always good to be prepared with sunscreen, bug spray, gloves and layers. We DO NOT allow anyone to work in sandals for safety reasons. Be ready to get dirty or paint even if it is not specifically listed as your activity for the day.

Food? Water?

Trinity Farm provides water coolers for you to refill personal water bottles. If your group would like to refuel with snacks or a cook out during your visit you are welcome to use our shaded picnic area and grill. You can bring any nonalcoholic beverages and any food items you enjoy.

Do we need to bring anything?

All tools you might need including paint brushes, shovels or power tools will be provided for you. But if you would like to donate supplies or bring your lucky hammer we won't say "no".

Cell Phones

While you are at Trinity Farm we hope you will enjoy nature and the quiet that can only be fully appreciated by "unplugging". You don't have to leave your phones behind, but we do ask that you turn off your ringers. If you want selfies or photos of your group in action we can help! We have great ideas for showing off your work!
